The 4-year old Daytona and the 5-year old Da Costa became the high scoring horses at the 2018 Stallion Sport Test held in Munich on 23 - 25 March 2018.
The Munich Sport Test drew a much smaller field of participants. There were eight 4-year olds but two did not complete the test (Crimetime GT, Sir Schneiders), and there were just five 5-year olds of which one dropped out mid test (Flashback).
In the 4-year old group Daytona (by De Niro x Quaterback x Rouletto) was the top scoring horse with an 8.28 point total. The stallion got 8.5 for trot, 8.2 for canter, 7.9 for walk, and 8.4 for rideability and general impression. The Trakehner bred Speedway (by Schwarzgold) was the second highest scoring horse with a 8.0 total. He got 8 for trot, 8.2 for canter, 7.8 for walk and 8 for rideability and general impression.
Estefano GT (by Escolar) failed the test with his 6.57 total. The horse barely walked and scored low marks on rideability and general impression.
In the 5-year old group Da Costa (by Dimaggio) was the top scorer with an 8.76 total. He earned 9 for trot and canter, 7.8 for walk, and 9 for rideability and general impression. Finnigan (by Floriscount) was second with an 8.44 total. He earned 8.5 for trot, 8.3 for canter, 8.7 for walk, 8.3 for rideability and 8.5 for general impression. The Trakehner Freiherr von Stein (by Millennium) scored a total of 8.24 points, De Sandro (by Decurio) totalled 7.93 points.
