Princess Alia Bint Al Hussein has honored the Kasselmann family in taking on the role of ambassador for Horses & Dreams meets the Royal Kingdom of Jordan from April 25th to 29th 2018 in Germany at Hof Kasselmann. The eldest sister of King Abdullah II of Jordan has been a strong advocate for all animals and people who find themselves at a disadvantage. She also serves as president of the Royal Jordanian Equestrian Federation. As part of the diverse offerings at Horses & Dreams, there will also be several charity actions to benefit the Princess Alia Foundation.
The Princess Alia Foundation’s message is ‘Compassion and Respect for all Creation”, hence the programs offered are quite varied, reflecting the fact that Creation is one whole, and that what affects any part of it actually affects all at some level.
The organization’s work with children on the autistic spectrum through equine therapy and interaction with nature led to working with young people who had dropped out of school, encouraging them to complete their education and to find their positive path in life. The success of this project, led the ministry of social welfare to request the foundation’s assistance with a group of particularly apathetic orphans and from there it has become involved in assisting those in care as well as finding solutions for those who have ‘graduated’ and need assistance in integration and working in the outside world.

“In a world with such conflict and misunderstanding it is the duty of each and every one of us to remember our humanity and to come together for the greater good of all’ animate and inanimate. One person alone cannot change the world but if each person does one good thing it has a ripple effect and changes the world for the better. Everything in Creation is part of one intricate whole. There is not one element which is more important than another and disregard for any element has a negative effect on the very fabric of what holds us together. Respect for each and every part of this complex unity is necessary to maintain true balance and harmony and to avoid the disasters brought about all too often by human beings’ selfishness, greed, and hubris. There has never been a more important time to spread this message.”
