Horses & Dreams is not only an event for the best riders in the world, who ride at 4* international level and compete for international titles. It is also a once in a life time opportunity for amateurs to present themselves and test their abilities in the unique atmosphere of the Almased Dressage Stadium. Each year P.S.I. Events hosts the final of the Ankum Dressage Club’s Amateur Cup at Horses & Dreams.

The Ankum Dressage Club is an organization that hosts eight national level dressage competitions throughout the winter months. These events attract amateurs and professionals from all around Europe as well as the rest of the world wishing to gain experience with young horses, or get back on track before the coming outdoor season. The competitions include diverse dressage classes for young horses, professional riders, juniors, young riders, ponies, as well as others.

One of the most well-loved qualification classes at the Ankum Dressage Club is the Amateur Cup, in which the top ten riders earn a one-time ticket to the final, which is held in the Almased Dressage Stadium at Horses & Dreams.

Throughout the eight competitions at the Ankum Dressage Club over the course of the winter, riders collect points, with the hopes of earning one of those ten starting places.

The following ranking shows the riders who have made the final of the Ankum Dressage Club’s Amateur Cup. 18 year-old Kim Burschick is in first place, and has proven, even in her young years that she is absolutely capable of success in the S level classes. She competed in her first ever S level dressage class just this past season, also at the Ankum Dressage Club. Since then, the 18-year-old has excelled greatly, and ridden from win to win. Luisa Emmerich and Katrin Berning are currently tied for second place in the ranking list, having earned exactly 171 points.
