Harrods, Thiago, Zum Gluck, Fiesta Danza Win 2018 Lienen Bundeschampionate Qualifier

The 5-year olds Harrods, Thiago and Zum Gluck and the 6-year old Fiesta Danza OLD became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show in Lienen, Germany, on 9 - 13 May 2018. 

Three horses tied in first place in the 5-year old division, which was judged by Wolfgang Egbers and Michael Settertobulte. As the division for 5-year olds was so big, the class was split into two groups. 

Nicole Wego won group one aboard Hof Kasselmann's Hanoverian gelding Harrods (by Hochadel x Rotspon) on an 8.4 score. Four combinations in group 1 placed second on a total score of 8.2:  Ann Christin Wienkamp on Christiane Ulmker's Westfalian gelding Finley (by First Selection x Ehrentusch), Franziska Niermann on the Hanoverian For Friendship (by Foundation x Sir Donnerhall), Nicole Wego on Hof Kasselmann's Sogno d'Amore (by Sir Heinrich x Weltmeyer) and Eva Möller on Paul Wendeln's Oldenburg mare Candy OLD (by Sir Donnerhall x Furst Heinrich).

In the second group two duos tied in first place. Dutch Robin van Lierop rode the PSI Auction price highlight Zum Gluck (by Zonik x Florestan) to victory with an 8.3 total score. He shared the glory with Eva Möller aboard Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff's Oldenburg stallion Thiago (by Totilas x Warkant).

In the 6-year old M-level dressage horse test judges Wolfgang Egbers and Heinrich Plaas-Beisemann placed German U25 rider Bianca Nowag on Johannes Westendarp's Oldenburg mare Fiesta Danza OLD (by Furstenball x Weltmeyer) first with 8.5. Hedda Droege and her home bred Westfalian stallion Bonderman (by Belarus x Alabaster) were the runners-up with 8.0.
