The 5-year old Alouette and the 6-year old Happy Day G became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show in Ansbach, Germany, on 17 - 21 May 2018.
Eight pairs lined up for the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds. Johanna Wadenspanner topped the board on the Hanoverian mare Alouette (by Ampere x Sunny Boy). With a total of 8.2 she won the class and was the only combination to achieve the qualification score. The dark bay mare got 8 for walk and trot, 9 for canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Ramona ritzel and the Bavarian bred Giulianna (by Bon Bravour x Sir Donnerhall) was second with 7.8. The bay mare got 8 for walk, 7.5 for trot an canter and 8 for submission and general impression.
Eight combinations competed in the M-dressage horse class for 6-year olds and Ralf Kornprobst aced the test aboard Roland Disterer's Hanoverian gelding Happy Day G (by Hochachel x Wolkenstein II). He scored 8.1. The gelding got 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot and canter and 8.5 for submission and general impression. Kornprobst was also second on Falk Pewestorf's Bavarian gelding Quietschbunt (by Quaterback x Lord Loxley) with 8.0. The chestnut gelding for 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression.
