The 5-year old Fair Game and the 6-year old Furst Donnerhall became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held during the regional show in Heidenheim-Aufhausen on 30 May - 3 June 2018.
Nine combinations competed in the L-level dressage horse test which was judged by Marle Koch-Schneider and Franz Maier. Anna Casper and the Oldenburg stallion Fair Game (by Furst Wilhelm x Ron William) aced the class with an 8.2 total score. The 18-year old Casper recently took over the ride on the black stallion from Oliver Luze. Melanie Mayer and Martina Lehr's Baden Wurttemberger bred Equidiamonds Damiani (by Damon Hill x Florestan) were the runners-up with 8.1.
Eight pairs contested the M-level dressage horse class for 6-year olds, which was judged by Koch-Schneider and Bärbel Lüdecke. Claudia Rassmann and the Westfalian gelding Furst Donnerhall (by Furstenball x Sir Donnerhall) claimed the trophy with an 8.3 total score. Andrea Dlugos and Anton Herre's Baden Wurttemberger bred Royal Faristo (by Royal Doruto x Pik Labionics) was a solid second with 8.1.
