The Nations Cup for Pony Riders was on the schedule in the dressage arena on Friday 15 June 2018 at the 2018 CDIO-PJYR Hagen "Future Champions" competition at Hof Kasselmann. The German pony team reigned supreme.
„All three rode exceedingly well,“ glowed German pony team trainer Cornelia Endres, who was excited with her U16 team’s victory . “All three were highly concentrated, and rode their tests with precision.”
The German team was made up of Julia Barbian (Düsseldorf) with Der Kleine Koenig, Moritz Treffinger (Oberderdingen) with Top Queen H and Lucie-Anouk Baumgürtel (Nottuln) with Massimiliano.
“Of course those are all really great ponies, but they are all not easy in their own special way, and these very young riders turn it into something great. I really have to give my riders a big compliment there, I am just so proud of the kids and the ponies” gushed Endres, as, in the end, even in the individual ranking, places one (Barbian) to three (Baumgürtel) went to the Germans, thats how dominant they were in Hagen a.T.W.
Second place in the team raking went to Denmark ahead of Great Britain.
On Saturday the first Freestyles are scheduled in the Almased Dressage Stadium.
As with all events at Hof Kasselmann, Future Champions is complimented with a full shopping mile, as well as diverse culinary options. Entrance is free!
