The 5-year old Duque de Montebello and the 6-year old Valeska became the winners of the small Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the Furst Bismarck anniversary regional show in Schönhausen, Germany, on Sunday 17 June 2018.
Only four pairs contested the L-level division for 5-year olds and Sandra Frieling aced the classa baord Peter Broers' Hanoverian stallion Duque de Montebello (by Dancier x St. Moritz) on an 8.0 total score. The stallion got 7.5 for walk, 8 for trot, 8.5 for canter and 8 for submission and general impression.
In the 6-year old class Maike Schreiner reigned aboard Heinz-Michael Schröder's Westfalian mare Valeska (by Vitalis x Florestan) with an 8.0 total. The chestnut mare got 7.5 for walk and canter, 8.5 for trot, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
