The 5-year old Dolani and the 6-year old Spotlight became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show in Sandbostel, Germany, on Sunday 17 June 2018.
With no less than 20 starters in the 5-year old division, the L-level class was well filled. Vera Nass and Bernhard Schaerffer's Hanoverian stallion Dolani (by Don Frederic x Rotspon) topped the board with 8.3., staying one point ahead of Lukas Fischer on Helmut von Firck's Baron von Nymphenburg (by Bordeaux x Spielberg) who was second with 8.2.
Ten combinations assembled for the 6-year old M-level dressage horse class and Tessa Frank reigned supreme on the Italian owned Hanoverian stallion Spotlight (by Sir Donnerhall x Wolkentanz I). They scored a strong 8.5 for the victory. British Susan Pape followed in second place on her husband Ingo's Hanoverian stallion Libertad (by Londontime x San Remo) with 8.1.
