The 5-year old Schöne Scarlett and the 6-year old What a Man became the winners of the two Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show at equestrian centre Kobold in Uder, Germany, on Friday 22 June 2018. 

The L-level dressage horse class for 5-year olds saw eight combinations at the starting line. Leslie Rohrbacher and Heidi Bouws' Hanoverian mare Schöne Scarlett (by Scolari x Londonderry) won convincingly with 8.6. Carina Bachmann and the Oldenburg gelding Zumstein (by Zack x Florencio) followed in the distance with 8.3.

Ten combinations competed in the M-level dressage horse test for 6-year olds and Hannah Schär aced the class on the Hanoverian gelding What A Man (by Weltruhm x Dacaprio). They scored 8.3. Two combinations were second with 8.1.: Leaonie Barthel on Frank Grossmann's Oldenburg gelding Lisario (by Lissaro x Sir Donnerhall) and Matthias Klatt on the Hanoverian mare Die Landlust K (by Destano x Londonderry).
