Bad luck for Danish team rider Josefine Hoffmann. Her ride, Anna Kasprzak's Honnerups Driver, is not fit to compete. The reserve rider Malene Aborg will take her team spot at the 2018 European Young Riders Championships.
For the second year in a row, Josefine Hoffmann and the 14-year old Danish warmblood Honnerups Driver (by Romanov x Don Schufro) were selected on the Danish team for the European Young Riders Championships. In 2017 they finished 7th in the Kur to Music finals.
"The European Championships are over for us before they even started," Hoffmann wrote on her Facebook page. "Divs was not fully fit in training yesterday so it's over from our side. "I owe him so much for everything he has done for me the past 1.5 years and he owes me nothing. There will be more shows in the future and we'll be back soon."
Malene Aborg and her 8-year old Danish warmblood bred Quantico Nexen (by Quaterback x Argentinus) are the first reserves for the team. She will join Caroline T. Elsner (Alskenz Firfod), Karoline Rohmann (Noosa Melody), and Sara Van Deurs Petersen (Katholm´s Ronaldo) on the team.
