A gorgeous black filly with exceptionally powerful natural paces showing great expression and elasticity already. Tall and long-legged with super conformation this filly has enormous charisma, a charming temperament and a superb cocktail of very valuable dressage performance bloodlines.
Her sire is the young stallion U-Genius, who is by Uthopia out of Weidyfleur II, Valegro’s only full breeding sister. The only stallion to have had both sire and uncle on the same gold medal winning Olympic team, U-Genius has enormous power, rhythm and balance, which combined with cleverness and trainability has made him a sought-after sire across the globe.
U-Genius’ sire, Uthopia, is the most successful competition stallion in GB winning Team Gold & 2 Individual Silver medals at the 2011 European Championships, Team Gold at 2012 London Olympic Games, Team Bronze at the 2013 European Championships, 11 International Grands Prix, 5 International Grands Prix Special and 4 International Grands Prix Freestyle. His offspring, although young, are just starting to be of age to compete and excel at National level. Whilst achieving all this Uthopia has been described as “safe enough for a grandmother to ride” and rated by his rider and trainer as the one of the easiest horses to train to Grand Prix. U-Genius’ full uncle Valegro needs no introduction and is simply the most successful dressage horse the world has seen.
This filly’s dam sire Pik Noir was a very imposing and highly graded black stallion (Reserve Champion of the Oldenburger stallion grading in 1991) that hypnotized through his incredibly powerful and elevated movement. Pik Noir's offspring are highly sought after and have achieved top auction prices. Records show sons of Pik Noir sold for 450,000DM (approx. £250,000) at the 2000 P.S.I. Auction and 300,000 Euro at 2016 Oldenburg auction. In December 1998 10 Pik Noir youngsters (all black) sold for a sensational average price of 170,000DM (approx. £78,000; equivalent to £95,000 in 2018). Pik Noir youngsters are well-known to be an absolute pleasure to ride.
Grand-sire Pik Bube, was himself a genius on the international dressage scene with a series of overwhelming successes and is well known as the hugely influential sire of many licensed stallions, including: Don Schufro, Davignon, Don Primero, Donatelli, Donnerbube, Dream of Glory, Duntroon.
A truly world-class filly with an outstanding pedigree destined for the international stage competitively with the added advantage of breeding potential.
