The 2016 British team pony Le Chiffre will become the new ride of Ruby Hughes, daughter of British Grand Prix riders Gareth and Rebecca Hughes.
The 11-year old British Sport Pony gelding Le Chiffre (by Caesar x Donnerwetter) is bred by Bev Brown of Leamside Equestrian.
In 2012 Le Chiffre won the British Young Pony Championships and in 2013 he made his international FEI pony level debut at Hickstead under Chloe Vell.
In 2014 Lara Kuropatwa began campaigning him and she represented Great Britain at the 2016 European Pony Championships in Vilhelmsborg, Denmark, where they finished 8th in the Kur to Music finals.
In 2017 Le Chiffre was shown by Charlotte McDowall and in 2018 Sophie Taylor briefly competed him, presenting him at just one international, the 2018 CDIO-P Hagen, where they were 10th in the Kur.
Ruby Hughes will now take over the ride on Le Chiffre.
"Peanut is now based at the fabulous Hughes Dressage with Rebecca, Gareth, his new rider Ruby and their amazing team. What a lucky boy he is," said breeder and owner Bev Brown. "Peanut has had a tremendous comeback this season with the super talented Sophie Taylor and all of her team at Walton fold Farm all of which we are so very very grateful for. So to have found Peanut a family that will love him as we and the Taylor team have was totally beyond our expectations and we are so thrilled and excited to watch their journey unfold and wish Ruby and Peanut the best of luck for the future and hope they have bounds of fun together."
