PSI Auction horses have made their mark at the 2018 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, Germany, at the beginning of September, proving once again that Paul Schockemöhle and Ullrich Kasselmann's concept of Performance Sales International works!

The PSI auction horses Bitcoin OLD and Zucchero have captured the highly coveted title of Bundeschampion aboard Hof Kasselmann's resident rider Frederic Wandres.  Zucchero sold last year at the PSI Auction and has given his new owners the hoped for glory and success, while Bitcoin will be up for auction in the 2018 PSI Auction in December.

The 5-year old Oldenburg stallion Zucchero (by Zonik x Prince Thatch xx) is bred by Hans-Heinrich Brüning and was discovered by Ulli Kasselmann as a youngster. He became the 2017 Oldenburg Young Horse Champion and in December that year the stallion sold at the 2017 PSI Auction for 370,000 euro to the Asian investors' family, incorporated as Star Horses.

Under Wandres, the strapping stallion finished fourth at the 2018 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, The Netherlands, and now added the Bundeschampion's title to his list of achievements. In Warendorf he scored a total of 9.4, the highest score given to a riding and dressage horse or pony at the 2018 Bundeschampionate.

In the 5-year old dressage horse finals, the 2017 PSI Auction price highlight Zum Glück (by Zonik x Florestan) also captured the bronze medal, further marking the massive success of Performance Sales International in breeding, scouting, developing and selling the best young dressage horses in Germany.  Purchased by Saskia and Jacques Lemmens for 850,000 euro at the 2017 PSI Auction, Zum Glück moved onto the bronze medal step of the podium with an 8.6 total score!

The 2018 Bundeschampionate became a total triumph for Performance Sales International as PSI auction horse Revenant also took out the gold medal but in the 6-year old dressage horse division. Purchased by Gestut Ammerland at the 2016 PSI Auction for a record amount of 1.1. million euro, Westfalian stallion Revenant (by Rock Forever) scored a winning 9.0 total under Rudolf Widmann. Revenant was discovered by Hof Kasselmann as a youngster and was the 2016 Westfalian Young Horse Champion. In 2017 he represented Germany at the World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo and scored bronze at the 2017 Bundeschampionate. This year they added Bundes gold to their record.

And the success did not end there! In the 4-year old riding horse finals for mares and geldings Wandres steered Ulli Kasselmann's Bitcoin OLD (by Bordeaux x Rubinstein) to a clear victory with highest total of 8.6 total. The sympathetic chestnut gelding scored 8 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 9 for canter, 9.5 for training and 8 for conformation. Bitcoin is part of the P.S.I. Auction collection and will be sold at auction on 9 December 2018.
