The 22-year old American small tour rider Lauren Asher has acquired the 5-year old Danish warmblood stallion Conde Nord.

Conde Nord is bred by Vibeke Björn Rasmussen and is by Charmeur out of Hekube Nord (by Hohenstein) and was owned by Bjarke Laustsen and Patricia Florin.

The stallion sold at the 2016 Danish Warmblood Spring auction for 140,000 DKK (18,677 euro) to the Danish duo Laustsen and Florin, who run the equestrian yard Gunnarlunda in Sweden with Jacob Norby Sorensen as in-house trainer.  Conde Nord was licensed with the Swedish warmblood society in 2017.

Norby Sorensen and Conde Nord were fifth at the 2017 Swedish Warmblood young riders' championships and won the Swedish Warmblood breeders' trophy in Gothenburg in February 2018.

The American former young rider Lauren Asher is a regular customer in Denmark, having bought there De Noir (through Californian based Mette Rosencrantz) and later on also Hotmail (never competed), Honnerups Event (her succesful young rider's horse) and Vincent Maranello (competed nationally in Florida by Asher).

Asher is based in Wellington, Florida, in winters and in The Netherlands in summers. She is currently coached by Canadian Chris von Martels, who also stays in Holland in the summer.
