Brightwells
The 3-year old show jumper De Pleasure (by Diacontinus x For Pleasure) became the top selling horse at the 2018 Brightwells December Sale held at Addington Manor on 1 December 2018.
Eventing rider Eliza Stoddart acquired the horse for £34,000.
Twenty-two of the 43 horses listed were sold for an average price of £13,711.
The sold horses were mainly show jumpers. The best selling dressage horse was Daugaard's Zee Merci (by Zee me Blue x Michellino) which fetched £15,000.
Bella Vista, a 4-year old Westfalian mare by Belconi x Fidermark, sold for £11,500. The Belgian warmblood bred Piccanti van de Nethe (by Governor x His Highness) sold for £10,650.
