Dressage horses Cosmo, Blue Hors Zack and Verdades are three of six KWPN bred sport horses nominated for the title 2018 Horse of the Year which will be awarded at the 2019 KWPN Stallion Licensing in Den Bosch in February.
The 2018 KWPN Horse of the Year title is determined by public vote. The voting deadline is on 31 December 2018.
Blue Hors Zack (by Rousseau x Jazz) is bred by B. Wilschut and has proven himself in the international Grand Prix dressage ring as well as a breeding stallion with many licensed offspring.
Cosmo (by Van Gogh x Landjonker) is bred by S. Serrarens and won team gold at the 2018 World Equestrian Games under Sönke Rothenberger
Verdades (by Florett As x Goya) is bred by Piet Crum and scored double silver at the 2018 World Equestrian Games under Laura Graves.
The other three nominated horses are eventer Cekatinka (by King Kolibri x Julio Mariner) and show jumpers Verdi (by Quidam de Revel x Landgraf) and Zinius (by Nabab de Reve x Kannan).
