Whereas the German children, junior and young riders' teams have already been named after the 2019 CDIO-PJYR Hagen, the German pony riders will have to ride another selection trial at the 2019 CDI Leudelange in Luxembourg.
German team trainer Connie Endres has selected a short list of seven riders who have to go head to head one more time before she will select her final team of four for the 2019 European Pony Championships in Strzegom, Poland, on 13 - 18 August 2019.
Riding in the pony division at the 2019 CDI Leudelange (2 - 8 July 2019) are:

- Shona Benner - Der kleine Sunnyboy
- Antonia Busch-Kuffner - Daily Pleasure WE and Kastanienhof Cockney Cracker
- Sophie Luisa Duen - Del Estero
- Johanna Kullmann - Champ of Class
- Rose Oatley - Daddy Moon
- Paulina von Wulffen - Dujardin B
