The Spanish Equestrian Federation has announced the horses that will represent Spain and the PRE/CDE breed at the 2019 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on 1 - 4 August 2019.
With the help of Spanish young horse team trainer and selector Jurgen Koschel, the Spanish Equestrian federation is allowed to field two horses per age category.
The selection process started in March with training sessions and competitions where the youngsters were assessed. The final one was held in Segovia on 20 June 2019 with Koschel and Spanish judge Mariano Santos attending.
Selected for Ermelo are:
5-year olds
- Sonsoles Roldán - Talisman LII (by Revoltosos XXIX x Duende XL)
- Juan Manuel Galeano - Truco de Centurion (by Kabileno VIII x Educado X)
- Reserve 1: Alberto Garcia - Norteno FS (by Galeote TF x Ermitano III)
- Reserve 2: Gabriel Seijo - Teatrero d Centurion (by Kabileno VIII x Vistoso IV)
6-year olds
- Lucas Marin - Solo de Centurion (by Fer Bago x Jordan de Centurion)
- Alberto Garcia - Molinero FS (by Centello V x Ermitano III)
- Reserve 1: Juan Manuel Galeano - Solano de Centuron (by Kabileno VIII x Rondeno IX)
- Reserve 2: Maria Velasco - Bandolero Ami II (by Torero del Ponto x Datil III)
7-year olds
