The world elite in dressage will meet at 25th Manfred and Hilde Swarovski Memorial Show in Fritzens, Austria, on 28 - 30 June 2019. This year the CDI Fritzens celebrates its 25th edition of the 4* CDI Memorial Show at the Schindlhof in the Tyrolean Alps with the coming of Olympic, World and European champions.
"Schindlhof always provides a very relaxed, familiar atmosphere for people and horses. Hosts Evelyn and Klaus provide optimal conditions. Every year I come here with pleasure," said Isabell Werth who is the number one dressage rider in the world aside from being a six time Olympic, nine time World Championship and seventeen time European Championship gold medalist.
Isabell Werth is bringing three horses to Fritzens: her World Champion Bella Rose, her brand new German Kur Champion Emilio and her soon to be retired Don Johnson FRH.
German Team trainer Monica Theodorescu will accompany her as well as German WEG team gold medalist Dorothee Schneider, who trains hostess Evelyn Haim-Swarovski. Furthermore from Germany riders such as Ingrid Klimke and Lisa Müller, wife of Bayern Munchen soccer star Thomas Müller, will be there.
No less than 46 riders from 14 nations are coming with 68 horses to compete in three tours and seven tests. For many European team candidates Fritzens is an important step and selection trial towards the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam in August. This is also the case for Austrian team candidates. Austrian Champion Belinda Weinbauer and reserve champion Astrid Neumayer will attend together with Karoline Valenta and Christian Schumach.
All entrance fees and voluntary donations will benefit in equal measure both therapeutic riding and vaulting & riding for handicapped persons, as well as the organisation “Tugende Together“. Even though you may have free admission, we request that you make a small donation, because every Euro counts.

The winner may keep the valuable Swarovski crystal trophy for a year. A rider is only allowed to keep it for good after she/he has managed to win three times with the same horse. In 2014, now 13-time Austrian State champion Victoria Max-Theurer was the first rider to achieve this, in 2018 Isabell Werth won the Challenge Trophy after three consecutive wins.
