Donatella and Scarlett Win 2019 Saarburg Bundeschampionate Qualifier

Ann-Christin Wienkamp had a successful day in Saarburg qualifying both Donatella and Scarlett for the 2019 Bundeschampionate

The 5-year olds Donatella and the 6-year old Scarlett became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional dressage show in Saarburg, Germany, on 25 - 26 May 2019. 

Ten combinations competed in the 5-year old class with Ann Christin Wienkamp acing the division aboard Michaela Kaldewei's Hanoverian mare Donatella (by Diamond Hit x Furst Heinrich). The liver chestnut mare got 8.5 for walk and canter, 8 for trot, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression to average 8.1. Kim Pfeiffer and Wolfgang Diehm's Trakehner stallion Speedway (by Schwarzgold x Anduc) were the runners-up with 7.4.. The black stallion earned 6.5 for walk, 7 for trot, 8.5 for canter, 7.5 for submission and general impression. 

Just two pairs competed in the 6-year old division which was won by Ann-Christin Wienkamp on the Ritzinger family's Oldenburg mare Scarlett (by San Amour x Comics) with 8.1.. The mare earned 8 for walk and canter, 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impresson. Kevin Riha and Michaela Freidhof's Hanoverian gelding Zabaione (by Zack x Wandergesell) were second with 7.2 after the gelding got 6 for walk and 7.5 for trot, canter, submission and general impression
