German Frederic Wandres and French Alexandre Ayache were in charge of the big tour classes at the 2019 CDI-W Brno in the Czech Republic on 21 - 23 June 2019. Wandres took centre stage winning the World Cup qualifier aboard the 14-year old Oldenburg Westminster.
Previous owned by Saskia Bauer and now listed as owned by Hof Kasselmann, Westminster is by Weltissimo x Davignon. In May Wandres won the 2019 Hamburg Dressage Derby on the gelding and in Brno he dominated the Grand Prix with 70.478% and the Kur to Music CDI-W class with 75.265%.
French Alexandre Ayache is continuing his show tour in Central Europe with his own and Karim Barake's 14-year old Dutch warmblood Zo What (by Scandic x Cocktail). After showing in Budapest, Mariakalnok and Lipica, the pair took their third and fourth trophy of the season in the GP Special tour in Brno. The pair scored a winning 70.848% in the Grand Prix and 71.340% in the Special.
The small tour was dominated by Ayache's student Rachel Bastady aboard Agathe Stempflin's 9-year old Oldenburg mare Donnerdiora (by Krack C x Donnerschlag). They won the Prix St Georges with 72.294%, the Intermediaire I with 71.794% and the Inter I Kur to Music with 74.425%.
