The 7-year old Danish warmblood Nikitaro, who has been selected to represent DWB at the 2019 World Young Horse Championships, has been sold to Danish children rider Annabelle Rehn. The black gelding will not compete in Ermelo.
Nikitaro is by Romanov x Don Romantic. He is bred by Connie Tworek and was owned by Simone Lunding-Hoppe and Jens Feldbak..
The gelding was trained and competed by Ditte Mikkelsen.
The Danish Rehn family is based in Singapore, but their 13-year old daughter Annabelle is currently in Holland preparing for the 2019 European Children Championships which will be held in San Giovanni, Italy, on 24 - 28 July 2019. She will ride the Danish Aros A'Fenris.
Rehn purchased Nikitaro after she saw a video of the horse and sent Emma Ahlberg to test ride the horse for her.
Nikitaro will stay with Mikkelsen in training for the moment, but has been withdrawn from Ermelo. First reserves Vestervangs Garson (by De Noir x Ragazzo) and Emma Ahlberg will be substituting.
