The KWPN colt Ovation (by Imposantos x Quantensprung) became the best selling foal at the first edition of the Borculo Foal Auction held during the Outdoor Gelderland international show jumping competition on 6 July 2019.
Ovation sold for 35,000 euro to a German client.
Colt O’Neill Texel (by Daily Daimond x Ferro) changed hands to a new owner from Dubai for 18,000 euro.
The strikingly coloured Opicasso (by Ferguson x San Remo) came under the hammer for € 15,000 and will be staying in the Netherlands.
Two foals sold for 8,500 euro: filly Odamora L (by Ghandi x Apache) and colt Oirendo (by Toto Jr x Tuschinski). For colt Onyx Dor (by Painted Black x Lord Leatherdale) the hammer struck at 5,000 euro.
Six dressage foals in total were sold at this auction and they achieved an average sales price of approximately 15,000 euro.
Those who weren’t able to buy a foal at this Outdoor Gelderland edition will get another chance during the 2019 Borculo Elite Foal Auction at PSC Lichtenvoorde in Vragender, The Netherlands, on 29 August 2019.
