The French equestrian federation has announced the two 7-year olds that will represent France at the 2019 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Ermelo, The Netherlands, on 1 - 4 August 2019.
The French selection process for the World Championships in Ermelo are done by two organisations. The "Societé Hippique Française" is in charge of picking the 5 and 6-year olds, which was already done at the beginning of June. The French Federation is n charge of the selection of 7-year olds.
Based on the performances of the 7-years this season, especially taking the last observation trial at the National Championships in Vierzon into account, the following two horses were picked by team trainer Jan Bemelmans.
7-year olds
- Pauline Vanlandeghem - Dakota de Hus (by Don Juan de Hus x Florestan), owned by IFCE
- Alizee Roussel - Bel Amour (by Bretton Woods x Donnerhall), owned by Régine Fimbell
