Davanti and Discover Win 2019 Ingolstadt Bundeschampionate Qualifier

The 5-year old Davanti and the 6-year old Discover became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional championships in Ingolstadt, Germany, on 13 July 2019. 

Eight horses competed in the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds, which was won by Walter Wadenspanner aboard his own DSP gelding Davanti (by Damon Hill x Furst Heinrich). The pair totaled 8.5 after earning 8.5 for walk, canter, submission, 8 for trot and 9 for general impression. Linda Jung and the Hanoverian gelding Qu'est-ce que c'est (by Quaterhall x Silberschmied) were second with 8.0. The liver chestnut gelding got 8 for walk and trot, 7.5 for canter, 8.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. 

Just three horses competed in the 6-year old division but Benjamin Werndl was able to achieve one of the high scores of the season aboard Flora Keller's Rhinelander gelding Discoer (by Don Frederic x Ferragamo). The pair got 9 for walk and trot, 8.5 for canter, 8 for submission and 9 for general impression to total a winning 8.7. Ralf Kornprobst and Nicole Haas' Bavarian bred Fiderschlag (by Fidertanz x Donnerschlag) were the runners-up with 8.3. The dark bay gelding got 7.5 for walk, and 8.5 for trot, canter, submission and general impression.
