The 10-year old Dutch warmblood mare Eskara de Jeu has been sold to Australians Sam and Brett Thomas and has moved to Future Farm Arabians for young rider Jessica Dertell to ride.

Bred by Emmy de Jeu and owned by Harald Meijer and Margreet de Boer, the chestnut mare has been trained and competed at Grand Prix level.

Eskara is by Jazz out of Okara (by Jetset D) and is the 2012 KWPN Mare Champion.

The mare was first competed by Barbara van Groeningen and made it into the 2013 Pavo Cup semi finals. She was then ridden by Veronique Roerink but as of May 2018 she went to former Dutch junior team rider Marjan Hooge.

Hooge took her from small tour to Under 25 Grand Prix level.  The pair competed first at young riders level at the CDI's in Uggerjamne and Exloo and in June 2019 she was moved up to Under 25 Grand Prix level and showed at the CDI Exloo, where they placed seventh three times with 65 - 66% scores.
