Jan Pedersen has been re-elected as president of the World Breeding Federation of Sport Horses (WBFSH) at the 2019 Annual General Meeting in Saumur, France, on 18 October 2019.
WBFSH’s Board members are elected for a two-year-period, and two members were retiring this year, Vice-President Stephan Kelchtermans (BWP) and President Jan Pedersen.
Kelchtermans, who is a veterinarian based in Houthalen-Helchteren, Belgium, and Pedersen were both re-elected.
"Thank you very much for your confidence," said Jan Pedersen who has been the president since he was first elected at the general assembly in 1999
Pedersen, who is also president of the Danish Warmblood Society, has now been re-elected ten times.
