Brand new German pony champion Rose Oatley already has a junior rider's horse in the pipe line: the 2019 Bundeschampionate silver medalist Rock Revolution.

ST. Georg reported that Rose's grandmother Rosalind Oatley acquired the 6-year old Westfalian gelding Rock Revolution (by Rock Forever x Davignon) just a few weeks after the Bundeschampionate.

Bred by Bernard Schulze Sutthoff and competed by his son Lars, Rock Revolution qualified for three consecutive Bundeschampionate. In 2017 he was 7th in the warm up round but withdrawn from the finals, in 2018 he was 21st in the consolation finals, and in 2019 he scored the silver medal. He also became the 2018 and 2019 Westfalian Young Horse Champion.

The bay gelding has now moved to Kristy Oatley's yard in Hamburg, Germany.

Her daughter Rose made her international show debut this year on pony Daddy Moon and was selected on the German team for the 2019 European Pony Championships in Strzegom, Poland, where she won team bronze. At the 2019 German Pony Championships she collected gold.

Rose has a second FEI dressage pony in the wings, the 6-year old licensed stallion Herzkönig (by Helios x Don't Worry), which the family bought in July

She can now also practice on junior horse Rock Revolution, although mom Kristy has already posted many videos of her young daughter riding big warmbloods, including the 185 cm standing Ronan.
