Danish Olympian Anna Kasprzak has decided to return the licensed stallion For Emotion to horse dealer Andreas Helgstrand.

For Emotion is a 6-year old Oldenburg stallion by Foundation out of Bundeschampion Samira (by Sandro Hit x Rockwell).

Andreas Helgstrand acquired For Emotion in December 2016 at the PSI Auction for 550,000 euro.

He is approved for the Oldenburg society and did his 14-day stallion sport test in Munster, scoring the second highest mark of 9.08 points.  He was presented for licensing at the 2017 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing but got rejected by the committee. He did pass the Danish licensing at a later point.

Kasprzak purchased For Emotion in the spring of 2017, but initially kept him with Helgstrand. Under Simone Pearce he won bronze on him at the 2017 Danish young horse championships in the autumn. In 2018 he was ridden by Kenneth Damgaard and placed fifth at the 2018 Danish YH Championships. It was the horse's last competition.

For Emotion joined Anna's stable in Haderslev, Denmark, in December 2018, when she decided to take over his training for 2019. She never competed him.

On her website Kasprzak posted a New Year's message and said that for her 2019 "has been all about creating new bonds and healthy routines with new horses." The two she refers to are 2019 acquisitions Addict de Massa and Fuhur.

"I have had to start over with two new and younger horses, and in addition to this I am first and foremost a parent," said Kasprzak. "This here has been about creating routines and practice a lot,” Anna says. She is looking back at 2019 with pleasure despite lots of new challenges. I have actually been really comfortable with the fact that 2019 has been about practicing. The pressure of competing has been minimal, which has been nice.”

Anna does not refer to her third Grand Prix horse Rock Star as a hope for the 2020 Olympic year.
