The 5-year old Dream Royal and the 6-year old Van Dijk became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held during the 2024 CDI Redefin on 3 - 5 May 2024.
Nine 5-year olds contested the L-level division and German based Italian U25 rider Beatrice Arturi topped the board with Gestut Sprehe's DSP licensed stallion Dream Royal (by Don Royal x Quadroneur). They posted a total of 8.12 points with 7.7 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8.3 for canter, 7.9 for suppleness and 8.2 for general impression. Two pairs landed second place with 8.0 total: Czech Libuse Mencke on the Mecklenburger Donaudiamant (by Donauschall x Dramatiker) and Swedish Lydia Jordan on the Oldenburg Zuccador QD (by Zenon x Lauries Crusador xx).
Only four pairs competed in the 6-year old division, which was also won by Arturi but this time on Gestut Sprehe's Hanoverian Van Dijk (by Vitalis x Duke Ellington). They posted 8.02 for the win. The stallion got 8.2 for walk and trot, 8.0 for canter, 7.8 for submission and 8.1 for general impression. Belgian Bart Desender and Sabine Schepens' DSP registered Fineline (by Furst Magic x Acordelli) were second with 7.78.
