2004-2005 KNHS/KWPN Stallion Competition

The third leg of the 2004-2005 KWPN/KNHS Stallion competition in Zuidbroek, The Netherlands, was won the German bred stallions Sandreo, Florencio and Riverdance.

2004 CDI-W Mechelen

Carl Hester and Escapado held off all opposition to win their first ever FEI World Cup Qualifier in Mechelen. It was the first time a Briton has headed a World Cup Qualifier line up since 1991.

Escapado, whose spookiness at the start of the Grand Prix left the British pair in sixth place, raised his game to the music and while Hester had a long wait to see if their score of 74.50 would be enough, the British national anthem finally rang out across the Nekkerhal followed by a standing ovation from the crowd.

2005 World Cup Finals

The FEI World Cup Dressage trail heads to Belgium next week as the Flanders Christmas Horse Show in Mechelen's Nekkerhal hosts the fifth Western European League qualifier.

Hot favourites must be Spain's Beatriz Ferrer-Salat and Beauvalais who triumphed at Olympia last week and were runner-up in Stockholm. They currently occupy fourth place in the points' standings on 37.

2005 World Cup Finals

America’s top dressage riders are battling to earn the right to represent the United States in the FEI World Cup Dressage Final 2005, which will be held alongside the FEI Budweiser World Cup Jumping Final in Las Vegas, NV, April 20-24, 2005.

The FEI World Cup Finals 2005 in Las Vegas will mark the first time that the two FEI World Cup Finals will be held together.

2004 Danish Young Dressage Horse Championships

Winning the 4-year old division at the 2004 Danish Young Horse Championships in Aarhus, Denmark, were Pia Kugelmann Nielsen and the KWPN registered Tardi. This young, dynamic duo dropped right into the limelight by beating the power house Blue Hors team Andreas Helgstrand on Blue Hors Romanow. Kugelmann and Tardi entered the 2004 championships as winners of the regional qualifiers and were able to change their status of underdog combination into that of a winning pair.

2004-2005 KNHS/KWPN Stallion Competition

 

At the second KNHS/KWPN Stallion Competition show at De Ijzeren Man in Weert, 4-year old Sandreo, five year old Scandic and six-year old Rhodium took highest honors.
