2007-2008 KNHS/KWPN Stallion Competition

Westpoint, Johnson and Dreacatcher won the third leg of the 2007-2008 KWPN/KNHS Stallion Competition Circuit in Zuidbroek, The Netherlands.

At L-level, Scholtens and Westpoint (Jazz x Michelangelo) beated their rivals Madeleine Vrees on Wynton (Jazz x Matador II). Judges Cor Loeffen, Johan Hamminga and Clara Dekker gave the winner 85 points, while the second placed pair scored 84.5 points. Lord Leatherdale ranked third with 83 points.

2008 World Cup Finals

The FEI World Cup in Mechelen showed a Dutch podium with Anky van Grunsven, Imke Schellekens-Bartels and Laurens van Lieren at the first three places. Anky van Grunsven and her elegant black approved stallion Painted Black were the unexpected winners of the fifth qualifier in the Western European League of the FEI World Cup™ in Mechelen.

2008 World Cup Finals

Anky van Grunsven won the World Cup Qualifier at the 2007 Olympia Horse Show CDI-W in London, Great Britain. The Dutch double Olympic champion presented her new Freestyle composed by Wibi Soerjadi and called ‘Dance of devotion’. The judges unanimously scored it 83,050%.

2007 Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals

Austrian Victoria Max-Theurer and her 7-year old Augustin OLD won the 2007 Nurnberg Burgpokal Finals, which is the most important Prix St Georges show circuit in Germany. With a lead of 35 points, Max-Theurer reigned supreme on the Oldenburger August der Starke x Rohdiamant offspring. They scored 73.80% in the final class, the Prix St Georges Special.
