The 12th annual KWPN Select Sale will take place following the 2012 KWPN Stallion Licensing in 's Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, on Saturday 4 February 2012. True to tradition the auction will once again serve as the final act of the KWPN's four-day extravaganza in the Brabanthallen.

The collection of 27 stallions for this year's auction is now online on the KWPN website, along with detailed information about each.

Serving on the selection committee for dressage stallions are Gertjan van Olst and Nico Witte; Teus van den Brink and Iwan Okkerman are on the selection committee for jumper stallions. Once again, both committees have assembled a collection of quality stallions and are confident in the sport talent of each.

The stallions boast varied bloodlines. These promising three-year-olds have each qualified for the second round viewing at the KWPN Stallion Show and therefore may be selected for the performance test. Furthermore, the stallions meet the KWPN's strict health requirements.

The past 11 KWPN Select Sales have yielded 26 approved stallions to date, including Bustique (by Indoctro), the recent winner of the GMB Stallion Competition in Zuidbroek; the Grand Prix jumper stallion Tadmus (by Calvados); Charmingmood (by Winningmood); the international jumper Regilio (by Heartbreaker); UB40 (by Olivi); and Rousseau (by Ferro), three-time sire of the KWPN stallion selection champion.

Numerous horses which were auctioned at the KWPN Select Sale as three-year-olds have become outstanding sporthorses, such as the KWPN-approved Grand Prix stallion Valeron (by Sandro Hit), the Grand Prix horse Umbro (by Jazz), and the Small Tour horses Ridderkerk (by Kennedy), Sound of Music (by Cocktail), Travolta’s Nieuwmoed (by Olivi), Wup (by Welt Hit II), and Veni Vidi Vici C (by Krack C).

Whether you're looking for a talented sporthorse or a future breeding stallion, the KWPN Select Sale offers the crème de la crème of Dutch horse breeding!
