Classical Sales Warendorf (CSW) has an exciting autumn coming up: the latest brainchild of the world-renowned auction team is a sales week for dressage horses aged four onwards. In this new fixture, around 15 horses of different breeding and bloodlines will be offered for open sale at the Wietelshof, on the outskirts of Warendorf, in the first week of October, from the 1st to the 7th.
“We wanted to offer an event that would enable customers to buy selected dressage horses in the trustworthy, reliable atmosphere of Classical Sales Warendorf, and that is where the idea for CSW Exclusive came from,” said Fabian Scholz, who, together with Susanne Miesner, launched the CSW auction four years ago.
All the most famous and treasured aspects of the CSW auction concept – horses selected conscientiously, whose history is fully known and whose training is horse-friendly and mindful of their age – will remain at the forefront of CSW Exclusive too. “This is a great opportunity for our clients to secure talented dressage horses outside of an auction environment. The prices will be determined by the horses’ quality,” explained Scholz.
All of the horses will have full, recent vettings including x-rays, and all will come from a handful of selected, reliable breeders.
On Monday 1st October, at 7pm, there will be a presentation of the horses, after which the horses will be available for trying out by appointment and for purchase. “We have a large proportion of horses who have competition successes appropriate for their age,” said Scholz.
The CSW team has been boosted by the arrival of Pferdewirtschaftsmeisterin Henrike Sommer, a well-respected rider with Bundeschampionat titles and competitive successes up to Grand Prix under her belt.
“We are delighted that Henrike has joined us and that we now have yet another competent partner at our clients’ disposal. We are all really looking forward to this new CSW fixture: we have finally managed to fill a hole in our autumn calendar, which many of our clients had frequently enquired about. This sales week in October and the auction in April now provide two highly-interesting, complementary events,” concluded Scholz.
