The first sales week organised by the Classical Sales Warendorf team is fast approaching: the horses comprising the collection for CSW Exclusive, which will be held from 1-7 October at the Wietelshof in Warendorf, have now been finalised.
“The quality of the 17 selected horses is unrivalled,” reveals the organisation and sales director Fabian Scholz. “We have some fabulous horses on offer, mainly aged four to six with a couple of three- and seven-year-olds too”. The horses, selected according to strict quality criteria, have been named after world- famous designer brands: the collection therefore includes horses called Jette Joop, Gucci, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, and many more.
The horses’ bloodlines are just as exciting: we can find much-coveted sires such as 2012 Olympic silver medallist Damon Hill, Bundeschampionat winners Sir Donnerhall and Lord Loxley, Jazz Rubin, legendary sire Sandro Hit and auction top price San Amour. “Many of our horses have already done well in the competition arena too,” adds Pferdewirtschaftsmeisterin and training director Susanne Miesner, who supervises the training of the CSW Exclusive horses.
The first and only presentation will take place on 1 October at 7pm. Immediately afterwards, the horses will be available to be ridden by prospective customers. “Of course, it’s possible to try the horses out throughout the week, by appointment. The horses will be presented for open sale and will all have been thoroughly vetted with x-rays,” explains Fabian Scholz. Just like at the CSW Auction, the team places great emphasis on fair and respectful training and presentation of the horses. Scholz and Miesner will be assisted by former Bundeschampion and top auction rider Henrike Sommer.
