Zuchterforum reported that Gestut Bonhomme's licensed stallion Fiorissimo (by Werther x Bolero x Arsenik) has been euthanized following an injury on 19 December 2012. The 1993 born stallion was 19 years old.

Bred by Bernhard Bauer, Fiorissimo was licensed with the Hanoverian society in Verden in 1995.

The bay stallion started his competition career under Leonie Bramall and was a top placer at M and S-level. Ingrid Klimke then took over the ride and presented the stallion at few international shows in 2002 and 2003 at Prix St Georges level . An injury short-circuited the stallion's show career.

Fiorissimo has only one licensed offspring, Fio (by Fiorissimo x Sandro Song), which is now making its way at Grand Prix level under the German based Swedish rider Michelle Hagman.

Both Fiorissimo and Fio are owned by Gestut Bonhomme. Owner Rebecca Gutmann is shocked by the death of her stallion. "Such a horse one has only once in a lifetime. I had this great fortune. He deserved to become older than 19 and enjoy his life more."
