According to the German breeding magazine Zuchterforum, the 7-year old Trakehner licensed stallion Redecker has been castrated at the end of 2012 and no longer stands at stud.

The 2006 born stallion is by Kasparouw out of a Couleur Furst x Kopernikus dam and is bred by Gisela Gunia from Uslar, Germany. The past three years the colt has been standing at stud at Gestüt Hohenschmark. He produced one licensed son so far, Debussy.

The black colt has had an impressive career so far as a competition horse.  He was initially started by Mareike Peckholz, who qualified him for the 2009 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, where he finished eighth. In 2010, Markus Waterhues took over the ride and won the Trakehner Championships with him. He qualified again for the 2010 Bundeschampionate, where Iris Borchers rode him to a 10th place. Redecker was last campaigned by Melanie Tewes.

Redecker has been castrated and will continue his career as a dressage horse at Derk Wieger de Boer's stable.
