Grand Prix rider Annabel Frenzen and her Holsteiner bred Cristobal dominated the big tour at the national show in Hunxe, Germany, on 22-24 March 2013. The Hunxer Dressage Days is an annual meeting point for German and German based international dressage riders to introduce their new horses to a competition atmosphere or more their rising stars up a level before the outdoor season starts.

Former German team youth rider and U25 rider Annabel Frenzen and Cristobal reigned supreme scoring well ahead of many seasoned professional dressage riders. The duo won the Grand Prix with 70.851% and the Kur to Music with 75.667% creating quite a gap between her and her rivals.

Isabell Werth's assistant trainer Matthias Bouten saddled no less than four different horses for the FEI level tests. With Sohnlein Brilliant he finished second in the Grand Prix on a score of 67.801%. Bouten also brought one of his youngsters, the 6-year old Hanoverian stallion Dante Delux (by De Niro , owned by Jerich).

His boss Isabell Werth won the Young Horse Grand Prix aboard the temperamental chestnut mare Bella Rose (by Bellissimo M x Cacir AA), scoring 70.851%. She stayed a full 5% ahead of Ellen Schulten-Baumer on the 11-year old Hanoverian gelding Grosso's Gentle (by Grosso Z x Ordos).
