Show organizer Leon van der Pluijm has announced the cancellation of the 2018 CDI Roosendaal. The international dressage event was scheduled to take place at his yard Den Goubergh on 31 May - 3 June 2018.

Van der Pluijm confirmed the annulment to Eurodressage today. Many international dressage riders were unaware of this fact and had not seen that the show has quietly disappeared from the FEI calendar.

The 2018 CDI Roosendaal was also an official team selection trial for Dutch pony, junior, children and young riders.

In an interview with Horses.nl, Van der Pluijm stated that delays in planning permission and the rebuilding process of Den Goubergh as well as a refinancing are the cause for the cancellation of the show.

Van der Pluijm stressed that the 2018 European Under 25 Championships in Roosendaal will take place.
