Ulla Salzgeber and her business partner Frank Freund have acquired the equestrian yard "Reitstall am Lechfeld" from German professional dressage rider Verena-Maria Holbe (née Hinze).
The 41-year old Holbe gave birth to her second baby in April and has decided to quit her horse business.
Holbe was successful as a junior and young rider on national level in Germany and ran an equestrian centre as a professional. Her best horses were Barry Boy and Etienne. She trained with Pale Thomsen and Alan Gayhede.
Salzgeber and Freund will move into their new yard based in Königsbrunn, Germany, soon.
