The 5-year olds Fellini and Don Klaron, and the 6-year old Don Farinelli became the winners of the small Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the Thuringia regional Championships in Römhild, Germany, on Sunday 17 June 2018.
Twelve pairs assembled for the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds and two winners surfaced at the top of the leader board with an 8.1 total score: Sabrina Gessmann on Helmut Eisner's Trakehner stallion Fellini (by Berlusconi x Grafenstolz) and Björn Steigauf on Wolfgang Tschöpe's Oldenburg gelding Don Klaron (by Don Schufro x Johnson).
Seven duos contested the M-level dressage horse test for 6-year olds and Jacqueline Koser took home the trophy aboard Ream Riedwiesen's German sport horse Don Farinelli (by Don Juan de Hus x Farinelli) on a score of 8.1. She had two pairs right on her heels on an 8.0 total score: Lisa Marie Koch on Fabian Scholz' Hanoverian Deichprinz (by Dancier x Don Frederico) and Kim Pfeiffer on the Lingerbach family's Furst Douglas (by Furstenball x Hohenstein).
