Danish Under 25 Grand Prix rider Søren Wind is moving from Helgstrand Dressage to Blue Hors stud in Randbol, Denmark.

Wind has accepted the job of assistant trainer at the Blue Hors stallion station and dressage performance centre and will begin there on 1 November 2018.

The 24-year old Wind has worked at Helgstrand Dressage for three years.

As Blue Hors is not a dealing yard, Wind will get the opportunity at Blue Hors to develop a long-term partnership with his allocated horses.

"We are a great team (at Helgstrand Dressage), everyone helps each other and you can get help from some of the very best riders," Wind explained. "I'll miss it. However, I am looking forward to riding and training with the skilled riders and coaches at Blue Hors."

Wind was originally a show jumping rider, having competed internationally at 1 and 3* level with Herslev Marks Cornado. When he began working at Helgstrand, he switched to dressage and got the opportunity to ride Hilfiger and Diego at international shows. With Diego he competed in the Under 25 division in Herning, Aalborg and Uggerhalne. He won silver at the 2018 Danish Under 25 Championship.
