The Dutch Equestrian Federation has announced the team that will represent The Netherlands on home turf in the Nations Cup leg hosted at the 2019 CDIO Geesteren on 16 - 23 June 2019.
Dutch Grand Prix team trainer Alex van Silfhout picked the top four of the 2019 Dutch Championships for the team.
The Dutch Nationals in Ermelo were the first observation trial for team selection for the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam. The CDIO Geesteren will be the second trial.
Riding for Holland in Geesteren are
- Edward Gal (Zonik)
- Hans Peter Minderhoud (Dream Boy)
- Emmelie Scholtens (Apache)
- Anne Meulendijks (Avanti)
Geesteren is the fourth leg of the 2019 FEI Nations Cup Dressage series. No less then four CDIO's are held in July alone with the last event being Hickstead at which the series winner will be decided based on a point system throughout the season.
