Danish Olympic team rider Anna Kasprzak has parted from three of her horses, including the internationally competed small tour horse Quarton.

Quarton is bred by Per-Arne Persson and is by Quaterback x Don Schufro. Under Finnish Yvonne Osterholm, Quarton competed at the 2014, 2015 and 2016 World Championships for young dressage horses. In 2014 he was 15th in the consolation finals as a 5-year old. In 2015 he finished 14th in the Finals as a 6-year old and in 2016 he was 13th in the Finals as a 7-year old. He also won the Swedish Young Horse Championships in 2015 and 2016.

After the 2016 Swedish Nationals the now 10-year old was sent to Helgstrand to be sold. In 2017 Bettina Jaeger competed Quarton in the small tour at the CDI Herning after which he sold to Kasprzak. Anna rode the gelding at the CDI's in Uggerhalne, AAchen and Herning that year. In November 2018 they made their international Grand Prix debut in Randbol with 69.913% and 70.596%.

After the retirement of Donnperignon, Kasprzak has one Grand Prix horse to compete, Rock Star. Quarton was her second GP ride, but she decided to swap him for the Portuguese sport horse bred Addict de Massa.

The other two horses that returned to the Helgstrand sales barn alongside Quarton are the 9-year old Romanova (by Romanov) and the 9-year old Oldenburg gelding Patrik (by De Niro x Rosario). Romanova was shown lightly at national level in Denmark, while Patrik arrived in Kasprzak's barn just a year ago but the rider did not connect with the horse.

"We run our farm like a business and that means that sometimes we have to part from good horses. My every day life just is so different now, so I the need arose to sell some horses," said Kasprzak who became a first time mom in May 2018.
