Dressage trainer Johan Hamminga is succeeding Reijer van Woudenberg as member of the KWPN Stallion Licensing Committee for dressage.

In November 2019 Van Woudenberg's post on the Licensing Committee will come to an end as his term is up and he is no longer re-electable.

The KWPN Members' board agreed with the general management to appoint Johan Hamminga as his successor for a period of three years.

The 68-year old Hamminga will be serving on the committee from November 2019 till November 2022. He is now chair of the Harness horse licensing committee, but this function will end for him when he starts in his new role in November.

In the past Hamminga has been closely involved with the Dutch team selection for the World Young Horse Championships. He was also Adelinde Cornelissen's initial trainer bringing Parzival to Grand Prix level.
