Fehrbellin, the most popular dressage breeding stallion at the Redefin State stud of 2019, has succumbed to the injuries he sustained in an accident on 2 September 2019. He was 7 years old.

Fehrbellin was a German Sport Horse (DSP) bred stallion by Franziskus out of Quibell (by Quaterback x Sunny Boy x Canaletto). He was bred by Lutz Göittert and owned by the Redefin state stud.

The dark bay colt was first approved for breeding at the 2015 DSP Stallion Licensing in Neustadt/Dosse. He did his 30-day suitability test in Adelheidsdorf ion 2015 and scored 7.59 for dressage and 7.85 for show jumping.

Fehrbellin was first competed by Nathalie Westphal as a 4-year old  in 2016 through 20°17. In 2018 Roland Volkmann took over the ride and showed him at some local events at L and M-level. In 2019 the stallion competed at four local shows in Redefin, Zierow and Strothe at M-level.

On 2 September the stallion got involved in an unidentified accident. "Despite intensive vet care, the stallion succumbed to his injuries. It is a great lost for the state stud to see such a top producer leave the breeding scene at such a young age," Redefin stated.
