A top premium stallion at the 2003 Hanoverian stallion
licensing in Verden, Rosentanz is an extremely extravagant,
highly modern
sport horse model with outstanding movement mechanics
as well as well over average talent for jumping. He was
the price highlight of the auction at the Licensing,
selling for 200,000 euro to Denmark, making him the
most desireable Hanoverian stallion of the year.
Rosentanz' sire, Rohdiamant, was Champion Stallion
at the 1992 Oldenburg approval and passed his performance
test
with a score of 150.01 in the partial index for rideability.
In 1994 he was awarded the Main Premium in Oldenburg.
Successful up to Grand Prix, Rohdiamant has sired
over 30 licensed sons, including champion stallions
and
just as many State Premium mares. Sao Paulo, the
sire of Rosentanz' dam, produced a number of outstanding
dressage horses and jumpers. At present, the most famous
of these is Satchmo, who won team and individual
gold at the World Equestrian
Games under the Olympic rider, Isabell Werth.
Sabrina,
Rosentanz' dam, passed her broodmare performance test
with outstanding results: walk 8.5, trot 8.0,
canter 8.0, rideability 8.67, jumping 8.0 and has been
accepted in the Hanoverian Jumper Breeding Program.
 Rosentanz has won series of tests for young riding
horses and qualified for the Bundeschampionat. He passed
his 30 day test in Münster-Handorf with excellent
results, including a noteworthy score of 9.25 for rideability.
This past season Rosentanz won several tests for young
dressage horses and is now schooling at Prix St Georges
level.
Rosentanz' progeny are known for their extraordinary
beauty, solid correct conformation, refined elegant
face and elastic movements. Rosentanz is an excellent
choice
if you want to go for superb rideability, top quality
movements and a beautifully looking horse. One son
of his first crop of foals has been selected for the
2008 Danish Warmblood stallion licensing in Herning,
Denmark.
