Last weekend, the 2008 Polish Indoor Dressage Championships were held in Sopot, Poland, April 18-20, 2008. The big winners were pony rider Tomasz Jasi?ski, junior Wiktoria Siergiej, young rider Aleksandra Szulc and senior small tour rider Justyna Dysarz.
The Polish Indoor Championships for senior riders run over the small tour level classes and Justyna Dysarz grabbed her fourth indoor title in her career and the second time aboard her grey Polish bred gelding Germanik (by Fanimo x Grand As). The 27-year old Justyna was a Polish representative at the 2002 European Young Riders Championships in Pratoni del Vivaro, Italy, and moved successfully to the senior division. Dysarz won all three small tour classes, scoring 69,600%, 70,500%, and 71,150%. Agata Milnerowicz and Bu?czuk placed second overall.
In the pony division, Tomasz Jasi?ski was unbeatable aboard the small, well movingForest Gump. He scored 66,212% in the first round and 65,942% in the second round, totalling 132,154% and beating himself on his second pony Harvard.
Junior rider Wiktoria Siergiej performed well aboard the 7-year old Dutch warmblood Up Date (Jasper x Amulet). She scored 66,279%, 68,545%, and 68,971% and totalled 203,795%, good to win the gold medal.
Young Rider Aleksandra Szulc won all three young rider classes with Asterix, a 16-year old Oldenburg gelding by Argentinus x Wettstreit. With solid scores of 66,500%, 65,889% and 65,245%, Szulc created an overall 6 percentage gap with the second placed Anna Maria Weber.
