The Belgian Dressage Championships held at the Azelhof Equestrian Centre in Lier, Belgium, during Belgian Dressage Weekend October 15-17, 2004, is approaching quickly! Even though the Belgian dressage championships for pony, junior, young riders, Intermediaire I and Grand Prix tour riders, as well as the championships for FEI young horses, are reason enough to attend this wonderful 3-day dressage extravaganza, the gala evening on Saturday October 16, 2004, makes the entire program even more appealing. This year it is featuring a clinic with double Olympic champion Anky van Grunsven.
The dressage gala on Saturday evening includes shows that focus on dressage such as training on long reins and a FEI pony quadrille. The top of the bill act will of course be a clinic with Anky van Grunsven. In cooperation with FEI Dressage Committee chairwoman Mariette Withages, Anky van Grunsven and her students will explain with it takes to ride a winning kur to music.
